Insta Coffee!

By this time if you don't know that I love coffee, I'll assume that you haven't gone through my website and I'll be really upset. And for those who know me on a little personal level, you are in deep trouble.

Anyways, I was trying to awaken the chef (yes, you can have a little smirk on your face) inside me. I love myself when I'm in the kitchen. I become Gordon Ramsay. Okay, that's way too much. Coming to the point, it's very hot these days, I guess probably the hottest summer that anyone has ever experienced here in India. In-spite of that I love summer (more on this sometime later). I obviously wanted to drink good coffee and I wasn't in the mood of standing in the kitchen for long. My chef skills were put to the test.

Disclaimer: I won't say that this is an original invention but at the same time I didn't bother searching for it on the internet.

This coffee, you can say is the mild sister version of Americano. What you have to do is, take a glass and add coffee to it. Now the coffee should be from slightly coarse to extreme fine texture. Otherwise, you'll have difficulty in mixing it with water. Next step is to add cold water to it. Do not add the water up to the brim, fill it up such that about an inch of space is between the brim and the water level. Make sure that the coffee is properly dissolved.

You can add coffee according to your love for the same. The only thing that you need to focus is on the fact that the coffee properly dissolves in the water. Otherwise you'll have some coarse texture in the drink. Plus make sure that you add only that much water such that it achieves it's saturation point. More quantity of water will actually destroy the drink.

Once you are done mixing, add milk to it up to the brim. Mix it and there you have it - Yuvraj's Special Cold Coffee.

FYI: everything I make becomes Yuvraj's special ;)
This drink is for real coffee lovers, who love experimenting with the coffee and don't mind drinking it without sugar. You can add sugar to it but again sugar is a tough guy to be dissolved in cold water. The real pleasure in this drink is that you take a sip and the coffee just slides on your tongue down to your throat. Yep, it's that good and yes that's the exact experience that you'll have if all the proportions are right. And heck yeah! it takes less than 2 minutes. True Story!
